Ming-chin has been in the field of industrial automation for more than twenty years, and joined Advantech in 2002 as the general manager for the eAutomation group. He has been leading the eAutomation group onto a path of fast growth for the past 4 years, and now, the eAutomation group is operating like a virtual company with its own independent R&D, manufacturing and marketing departments. Moreover, Ming-chin has made Advantech the number one choice for eAutomation in China, setting an impressive record for the company.

Ming-chin was born in 1959 and graduated from National Cheng Kung University with an electrical engineering degree. Previous to Advantech, he has worked for a number of companies ranging from HP Taiwan to Uni-President Company, which is one of the biggest enterprises in Taiwan. He has been an R&D engineer, a sales manager as well as a department head, so to Ming-ching, he not only has solid technical knowledge, he is also well prepared with managerial skills.

As the trend of automation market is moving towards that of open frame, Ming-chin is optimistic about the outlook of actualizing the spirit of "Open eAutomation, Boundless Integration". He also constantly reminds himself to show appreciation and share experiences to others, because to Ming-chin, he knows that the goal of achieving a beautiful life starts from within!
